The Xcel Energy 550 MW Allen S. King Unit 1 full scope fossil plant operator training simulator was delivered and declared ready for training in November 2013. The high fidelity simulation is used for operator training and as a testing platform for DCS changes before actual plant implementation. In addition to the full set of process models, WSC integrated an Ovation Virtual DCS, provided a hard panel emulation station with our soft panel graphics and our 3KEYMASTER Instructor Station.
